The romantic town of Moret-sur-Loing takes its visitors back to the time of the Impressionist painters. A tour entitled “ In the footsteps of Alfred Sisley” (booklet sold at the Tourist Office) takes people to the still unchanged sites that Sisley immortalised during the twenty years he spent at Moret-sur-Loing. The fortified gates, the narrow streets, the church of Notre Dame, the Keep, the bridge and the banks of the Loing have kept their picturesque medieval character.

The Barley sugar Museum
This museum is devoted to the famous barley sugars made by the nuns of Moret-sur-Loing. The production and history of the confectionery, very much appreciated in the 16th century court and still handmade today, are illustrated by the collection and an audiovisual presentation.
